Orion Personal Assistant — last updated 18 September 2026
Orion Personal Assistant ("the application") is a private automation tool used by a single person, its owner. It is not a public or commercial service, and it has no users other than the owner.
What the application accesses
With the owner's explicit authorisation, the application accesses data in the owner's own Google account only:
- Google Calendar — reads events on the owner's own calendars, and creates calendar entries and reminders for the owner.
- Gmail — reads messages in the owner's own mailbox, applies labels to them, and creates draft emails.
The application does not send email. It creates drafts, which are left in the owner's mailbox for the owner to review and send manually.
How the data is used
Data is used solely to produce the owner's own reminders, calendar entries, and summaries of their own mail and schedule. All processing takes place locally on the owner's own computer.
Storage
OAuth credentials and any locally cached data are stored only on the owner's own computer, in files readable only by the owner's user account. Nothing is uploaded to or stored on any server operated by the application.
Sharing and disclosure
No data is sold, rented, traded, or shared with any third party. The application does not transfer data to third parties for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose. There is no advertising, no profiling, and no analytics.
Data retention and deletion
Data is retained only for as long as it is needed to provide the functions above. The owner can revoke the application's access at any time from their Google Account permissions page, and can delete all locally stored data by removing the application's credential files from their computer.
